I first visited London in the United Kingdom in 1989 after visiting Germany and a day trip to Salzburg Austria.

I have also visited the United Kingdom on a few other occasions, with stops in London (1994, 2005, 2018), northern England (1994), northern Wales (1994), and southern Wales (2018).

1994:

2005:

2018: In late July and early August of 2018, Tracy (my fiancée at the time) and I visited the United Kingdom and spent time in London, southeast and southwest England, and southern Wales. We stayed 5 nights on the river at London Marriott Hotel County Hall, 1 night in Bath at Gainsborough Bath Spa, 3 nights at the Swansea Marriott in the Maritime Quarter, and 2 nights at the London Marriott Hotel Kensington.

On 7/31, we viewed the clock tower that holds Big Ben, the Palace of Westminster, and Westminster Abbey. We then toured the Royal Mews, saw the Victoria Memorial, Clarence House, and the changing of the guard. We then toured the Buckingham Palace State Rooms and the palace's gardens. We then visited Wellington Arch, Hyde Park, and Marble Arch.

On 8/1, we visited the Tower of London, saw the Crown Jewels, visited Tower Bridge, and took a tour on the Thames River.

On 8/2, we visited Parliament Square, toured inside Westminster Abbey, visited the Churchill War Rooms, saw 10 Downing Street, the Horse Guards, Trafalgar Square, and Admiralty Arch. We then ate dinner at Rowley’s Restaurant, visited Piccadilly Circus, and saw the show Disney's Aladdin.

On 8/3, we took a day trip to Leeds Castle and rode on the Coca-Cola London Eye.

On 8/4, we visited Windsor Castle and Stonehenge on our way to the town of Bath.

On 8/5, we visited the Roman Baths and then drove to Swansea to meet some of Tracy's family.

On 8/6, we spent time in Swansea, Wales.

On 8/7, we met some more of Tracy's family and visited the Gower Peninsula of Wales including Langland Bay, Three Cliffs Bay, and Rhossili. We then visited the block Tracy's mom grew up on, and the school and chuch she attended.

On 8/8, we returned to London and did some shopping.

On 8/9, we toured Kensington Palace and saw the show Disney's Lion King.
